Open House Hongdae 1. Location Open House Hongdae is just a short 2-minute walk (about 100 meters) from the main gate of Hongik University. It’s located right in front of the Hongik University Lifelong Education Center, on a quiet and peaceful street. Hongdae Station is only about 200 meters away, so getting around the city is easy and convenient. 2. Facilities The entire building, from the 2nd to the 5th floor, is used exclusively as a Goshiwon (a type of student residence). Each room is a private studio with its own bathroom, shower, and high-speed internet connection. There’s also an elevator for easy access to all floors. The 3rd floor is for women only, providing a safe and comfortable environment. The building was recently renovated, so everything feels clean, bright, and modern. All rooms are more spacious than typical Goshiwon rooms. Formerly known as Yoonhee Goshiwon, the place has been completely rebuilt and newly opened as Open House Hongdae.
